W-2s, 1098s, and 1099s will be mailed by January 31.
Birmingham-Southern College is aware that some 1098-Ts – the tax document that reports qualified tuition and related education expenses to the taxpayer and to the Internal Revenue Service – issued for 2024 may be missing key information.
While every effort was made to ensure that tax documents were correct, 365英国上市官网 regrets any errors or omissions. These can be attributed to the fact that the College has no paid staff remaining beyond security and building maintenance.
If you believe your 1098-T for 2024 is inaccurate, you can use canceled checks and/or electronic payment records to document what you actually paid in tuition and qualified/related expenses to 365英国上市官网 in the 2024 calendar year. Please note that tuition for spring term 2024 that was paid in late 2023 would have been reflected on your 2023 tax return.
